This is our opening scene. It is suppose red to be a thriller/horror film. In the film Jess gets abducted and the gets rescued. But we cut it out where she gets kidnapped to crate suspense.

I am done with all the editing and filming. We are ready to turn our video in. I'm pretty satisfied with it because we have put a lot of time and effort into it. We also ran into many issues that we had to work together ass a team. The first issue we ran into was when our actor was not available because he had to work on the only days we were filming. Another big problem i ran into was when my camera fell and broke. I had to record the rest off my phone. We also ran into bad weather. Im overall glad that we finished this assignment, primarily because so much time was put into it.

We are almost done filming. There has been a lot of time spent filming and we've also spent a huge amount of time editing. We asked one of our actors who's also a editor for a small youtuber if he can assist us, and guiding me and my group mate. He showed us different tactics and also shared a few tips on how to edit in order to ensure an excellent and seamless film. a few tips he gave us where:   Know your film, Be brave and dynamic, Don’t make scenes dreary by over or undercutting, and Style is more important than matching. We will spend the next 2 weeks editing and putting final touches on our film and refining everything.

We have finished filming 100% of our film. Now we just have to focus on finishing up editing. What's left to edit is the last few scenes. We haven't edited anything since Monday. This is because we have had a good amount of homework. We also have held back on editing this week because of our sports that we play after school. I don't think we will edit for the rest of the week. We are planning on editing Saturday and Sunday. With hopes of finishing by Monday. The hardest portion on of the editing is done. Now we just have to do the basic touches.

We have one scene left to film. The only reason we haven't begun to film it is because of the weather. It has rained for the past two days. We have all of our props ready and standing by for when the weather clears up. The wind has also affected our ability to film. The wind has an affect because all of our props are mostly small and light weight. We attempted to film 3 days ago but the wind was blowing about 20 MPH. Making it almost impossible to keep our props in place. We also had the camera fall over on us many times and then we decided no to risk having it break.

Today,  We have 15 days left until we have to turn the film in. We are on the home stretch on getting it done. Id say that we have about 2 to 3 more scenes to film and then we can finish editing. During the editing process, I'm going to edit the first 6 scenes. And my group mate is going to edit the remainder scenes. I have done most of the editing on my end already. I just have to tweak a few things and add some sound affects to the film. I also am going to add visual effects. The hardest part in my portion of the editing was combing the videos so they sync perfectly. After many hours i finally managed to sync them so that it looks smooth when played back.
